Bupa makes it easy to look after yourself with a wide selection of extras, discounts and offers from optical partners, the MyBupa app, and even at-home care programs.1Available on eligible products. Access to Members First benefits 

Bupa’s extensive Members First network of dental, physio, and other extras partners gives you more choice. Plus, plenty of perks, like 100% back on a dental check-up and clean every 6 months, outside your yearly limits, at Members First Ultimate Providers.2For services included on your cover. Yearly limits, waiting periods, benefit claiming restrictions, fund and policy rules apply. Digital cards may be used at supported terminals only using compatible Apple iOS, Apple watch and Android devices.

What cover do they offer? 

With Bupa, you have the option to pick from hospital cover, extras cover, and even combined cover. The trick is choosing policies that work for your health needs and your budget. But it can all be worthwhile when you need to go to hospital or visit the dentist.  

How do I make a claim with Bupa? 

It’s easy to make a claim with Bupa. Many medical service providers, such as dentists, physiotherapists, and chiropractors, have facilities where you can make an instant claim for your extras cover through a little device called a HICAPS or HealthPoint machine. You only need to swipe your Bupa membership card – you may even be able use your smartphone or Apple watch – and Bupa will handle the rest!3At Members First Ultimate providers you can receive 100% back on dental check-up and cleans (select dental items only) once every 6 months, claimable outside of your yearly limits.  Waiting periods, benefit claiming restrictions, policy and fund rules apply. Excludes orthodontics and in-hospital treatments. Available on all eligible extras products which includes General Dental (excluding FLEXtras and Your Choice Extras 60 where general dental is not included). If you choose or require any additional dental services, any health insurance benefits will also be subject to your yearly limits. Members First Ultimate providers are not available in all areas.

If your provider doesn’t offer this service, you can make a claim through the myBupa app anytime, anywhere. Or if you prefer the old-fashioned pen-to-paper methods, you can fill out a claim form in person at a Bupa storefront or send it in via the post.
