Get motivated to look after your health with OnePath Evolve

OnePath’s Evolve initiative offers an individualised whole health approach, caring for your physical, mental, social, and financial wellbeing. This includes access to the LiveWell by Zurich app, which rewards taking steps to feel and stay healthier, and free evidence-based support services to help you manage chronic conditions or return to work.

Feel supported when you’re experiencing vulnerability

OnePath’s empathetic staff aim to support you in times of crisis, like financial distress or domestic violence. This includes believing your situation without proof of an intervention order and working with you to make your policy more affordable when money is tight.

Discover an understanding and clear claims process

If you’re making a claim, you’re likely not feeling your best. That’s why OnePath’s claims philosophy is to treat all customers with empathy and respect, including acting quickly, being fair and impartial, and starting with the intention to accept your claim. They will also clearly explain the outcome, including how the decision was made.1If you aren’t satisfied with the decision and want to take further action, see Moneysmart – Making a life insurance claim

What types of policies do they offer?

OnePath has a range of life insurance policies available. These may come with the option of additional cover and even changing your sum insured after certain life events without needing to undergo any medical tests.

Depending on your circumstances and concerns, OnePath could help with:

  • life cover: the option of a lump sum or payment in regular instalments if you pass away or are diagnosed with a terminal illness
  • income protection: payments if you’re unable to either work at all or work at full capacity
  • total and permanent disability (TPD) insurance: the option of a lump sum or payment in regular instalments if you become totally and permanently disabled
  • trauma cover: a lump sum if you’re diagnosed with a specified serious medical condition. .

Some OnePath life insurance policies may let you choose between receiving your claim payout as a lump sum or in instalments. While the financial support will be yours either way, you may prefer one option over the other. For instance, you may feel more comfortable budgeting around regular payments. Alternatively, you might want a lump sum you can use some of, then invest and grow the rest.
