The company’s mission is to take some of the confusion and complexity out of travel insurance and give Aussies coverage options that both fit their needs and are easy on the pocket – so you can squeeze a little more into your holiday’s spending budget!

Over the past decade, Tick’s commitment to providing excellent service and quality products has earned them multiple awards and recognition.

Why consider Tick Travel Insurance for travel insurance?

Pre-existing medical conditions

Under certain types of policies, you might be covered for pre-existing medical conditions diagnosed within the last five years. You don’t even need a medical certificate.

90+ sports and activities covered

If you’re the thrill-seeking type, you can get coverage for parasailing, bungee jumping and other adrenaline-pumping activities. Or if you’d prefer to take it easy playing golf, or going on a safari, Tick has you covered too.

Free cover for kids and dependants

Your children, grandchildren, adopted and foster children or dependents, all of whom are under 18 years old, will be covered under your policy and will receive the same level of cover as you do if you’re travelling with them.

Awarded for outstanding value

If awards are anything to go by, Tick Travel Insurance has been consistently racking them up since 2016, most notably the value they offer customers.

What types of policies does Tick Travel Insurance offer?

True to the idea that travel insurance is not one-size-fits-all, Tick offers up to four levels of cover allowing you to find a policy suited to your circumstances.

Keep in mind, you can further tailor your policy depending on whether you’re travelling as an individual, a couple or a family and even include upgrades and amendments such as cover for natural disaster and winter sports.

Travel insurance is about protecting yourself from the unexpected. That being said, it’s important to understand what your policy will or won’t cover you for. To avoid unwanted surprises, it’s always a good idea to read the product disclosure statement (PDS) carefully for any general exclusions. For instance, Tick won’t cover missed connecting flights but might be able to assist if you have to cut your trip short for a good reason.
