Who is Travel Insuranz?

Travel Insuranz is an Australian travel insurer that’s all about keeping travel insurance simple, safe, and reliable (just as it should be). Backed by Lloyd’s London and managed by Chase Underwriting, they’ve already helped over two million travellers explore with confidence. While they offer high levels of cover, security and customer service, they work hard to keep their policies affordable, so you won’t have to settle for less. With 24/7 support and a fast claims process, Travel Insuranz provides travel coverage you can count on.

What makes Travel Insuranz special?

Keep hold of your frequent flyer points

If you bought your plane tickets with your frequent flyer points but suddenly can’t travel due to an illness or injury, Travel Insuranz will refund the cash value. That way, there are no lost points, and you aren’t left out of pocket.

Kids under 18 travel free

Planning a family getaway? You can add your kids to your policy for free (as long as they’re younger than 18 years old). That’s more cash left over for those ‘please can I have it’ gift shop souvenirs (and a little peace of mind for parents too).

Hundreds of activities already covered

Travel Insuranz includes a range of activities in their policies, like bungee jumping and zorbing, at no extra cost. This means that if something happens while you’re getting an adrenaline rush overseas, you could be covered without needing to take out any additional extras.

What type of policies does Travel Insuranz offer?

Travel Insuranz offers a range of policies for your upcoming trip, with two options for both single-trip or annual multi-trip holidays.

Standard

If you want to be covered for all those common travel headaches, like lost bags or delayed flights, a standard policy will have your back. Standard travel insurance is a nice solid base for anyone who wants common mishaps covered, like emergency medical costs, travel delays, theft of belongings or travel documents.

Comprehensive

If you want to be protected against a wider range of travel accidents for better peace of mind, a comprehensive travel policy might work best for you. These usually cover everything in a standard policy, plus extras like rental car excess or higher benefit limits.

Can I access my account online?

Yes, Travel Insuranz have an online account hub where you can view your policy, update your information, or make edits to your policy.

Forgot to sort out travel insurance before take-off? It’s not too late to travel without it. Many insurers offer policies after your trip starts and you’re already overseas. It’s great for situations where you want to spontaneously extend your trip or forgot about getting insurance in the first place.

Just remember that already overseas policies will usually come with an initial no coverage period. So for those first 48 or so hours, if something goes wrong, you won’t be able to claim. But once you’re past that window, you’re good to go!
