Fair Comparison is a white label comparison technology provider. Fair Comparison compares loan products from a range of banks and other financial or credit product providers. It’s important to be aware that we do not compare all products available in the market or all product features. To filter the results, you will need to enter some basic information which will generate a comparison of products that fall within those parameters.

The default ordering of products is based on:

• Initial purchase rate for Credit Cards, 0% Purchase Cards, Low-Interest Rate Cards, No Annual Fee Cards.
• Balance transfer initial rate for Balance Transfer Cards.
• Cashback amount for Cashback Cards
• Rewards rate for Frequent Flyer Rewards Cards and Reward Credit Cards
• Comparison rate for all Personal Loans and Car loans.

This means the initial ordering may not match what you are looking for and so we encourage use of the filters and sorting tools so that you can see the products listed based on the criteria that you consider most relevant.

Where Fair Comparison displays and links to product providers, we and Tyrian Pty Ltd may receive a commission payment if users click through, apply and/or successfully acquire a loan or credit card product from or through the provider.

It is important to note that whilst we aim to provide factual information to help you make your own decisions we do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, or provide advice, assistance or recommendations. You should always look closely at the product provider’s information (including on the product provider’s own website) before applying for or buying a product. If you are uncertain as to whether a product meets your needs you should seek professional advice before deciding.

Sponsored and Advertised products

While our comparison service costs you nothing, we know there is no such thing as a free lunch. We’re a business and that means we need to make money – after all, we’ve got more than 500 talented staff to pay!

Instead of charging you a fee, we are paid a ‘commission’ by the company that owns whichever credit card, personal or car loan products you view, click on or choose
to purchase on our website. In addition to earning commission from products we sell our providers may pay us an additional fee to advertise products in the following
ways:

• Advertised Products: are advertisements that appear at the top of the page and as well as where they would normally appear in the comparison set. The
  payments that iSelect receives for these products are higher than those applicable to Sponsored Products.

• Sponsored Products: are displayed first within the results table as well as where they would normally appear in the comparison set (if the product is the most
  competitive, it will only appear once). The payments that iSelect receives for these products are lower than for Advertised Products
