The iPhone X launches in October 2017 (pre-order on 27/10 and available 3/11) and according to Apple is “so immersive that the device itself disappears into the experience. And so intelligent it can respond to a tap, your voice and even a glance”.
Price of the iPhone X
The new iPhone X is over 40% more expensive than the iPhone 8. The new iPhone X starts at $999, with a storage upgrade at $1,149.

OLED Designed for iPhone X: OLED is a type of display technology that differs from the more widely used LCD. It provides users with stunning colours, true blacks and high brightness.
Updated Camera: A TrueDepth 12-megapixel Camera that Apple says is the most sophisticated technology they have developed. Portrait mode now has a new feature called Portrait Lighting that produces impressive studio-quality lighting effects.The camera includes sensors that enable Face ID.
Face ID: This feature allows your face to now be your password, enabling a secure way to unlock your phone, authenticate and make payments. Face ID is secure enough to use with Apple Pay.
Durable: The all-new design has the most durable glass ever in a smartphone.
Water and dust-resistant: The iPhone X has been precision-engineered to resist water, splashes and dust.
Wireless charging: Say goodbye to charging cables and headphone cords! The iPhone X has a glass back that allows for wireless charging. Apple had stated that you will be able to charge with wireless charging stations and mats in hotels, cafés and airports around the world.
Intuitive Gestures: Instead of pressing a button, a single swipe takes you home from anywhere.
Power Efficiency: The updated design is said to last up to two hours longer between charges that the iPhone 7.
Augmented Reality: This impressive feature powers augmented reality experiences in games and apps.
